SMS / Text Messaging Consent Policy

Version 1.3 · Effective August 17, 2026

What you agree to when you give Shipr your phone number for text messages, the categories and frequency of those messages, how to stop them, and how we record your consent.

1. About this Policy

This SMS / Text Messaging Consent Policy explains how Shipr LLC ("Shipr," "we," "us," or "our") uses SMS text messages to communicate with you about the Shipr platform, and the choices you have. It applies to Shippers, their authorized users, and Drivers who provide a mobile phone number.

By providing your mobile phone number to Shipr, you consent to receive SMS text messages from us at that number, including messages sent using an automated system, for the purposes described below. This Policy supplements, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

2. Messages You Will Receive

When you consent, we may send you text messages in the following categories:

CategoryExamples
Delivery assignments and offersNew delivery offers and assignments, pickup and drop-off details, status and timing updates, and recipient or Shipper coordination messages
Account updatesAccount verification and onboarding steps, payout and document status, and changes to your account or to your use of the Platform
Security alertsLogin and verification codes, suspicious-activity notices, and other messages that help keep your account secure

These are transactional and service messages tied to your use of the Platform. We will not use this consent to send you marketing or promotional text messages without your separate, express consent.

3. Message Frequency and Rates

Message frequency varies and depends on how you use the Platform — for example, an active Driver may receive more messages on a busy day than on a quiet one. Standard message and data rates may apply, and these are charged by your mobile carrier under your plan; Shipr does not control and is not responsible for those charges. Please contact your carrier for details about your plan.

4. Opting Out and Getting Help

You can opt out of text messages at any time:

  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out of further text messages. After you send STOP, we will send a single confirmation message and then stop sending you texts in that category.
  • Reply HELP to any message to get help, including how to contact our support team.

You can also manage notification preferences in the app or by contacting support (see Section 9). If you opt out of security alerts or other essential service messages, we may not be able to deliver important account or safety information, and your ability to use certain features of the Platform may be limited. You may receive messages again if you later opt back in or provide your number again.

6. Carrier Disclaimer

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to the transmission limitations and timeliness of your carrier, and we cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered or delivered on time.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (for example, in the app). Your continued use of the Platform, and your continued receipt of text messages without opting out, after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy.
